I have searched out places here in the suburbs of New York City where nature is winning against development. This photo was taken at Teatown Lake Reservation, a nature preserve in Ossining, NY. Teatown is one of those places where one can drive a short distance from a densly-populated area and find a serene lake and wooded trails.
