Lake George Regional Park

Where: Lake George Regional Park

Why: Lake George Regional Park is a 320-acre day-use lakeside park owned by the State of Maine, leased through inter-local agreement by the towns of Skowhegan and Canaan, and managed for public use by Lake George Corporation. Lake George Regional Park was acquired in 1992 with Land for Maine’s Future funds and state park acquisition bond funds. Construction of the park was completed in four stages over 5 years.
