How Do the Bush Administrations' Policies Affect Women?
Access Denied: The Global Gag Rule Impact Project
Access Denied is a collaborative research effort led by Population Action International in partnership with Ipas, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, EngenderHealth and Pathfinder International. Access Denied takes an in-depth look at the effects of the Global Gag Rule in Ethiopia, Kenya, Zambia and Romania. Reproductive health clinics have been closed and vital services cut as a result of this undemocratic U.S. foreign policy. Visit this site to learn more about the report and see a documentary from Zambia. Check out The Global Gag Rule Impact Project on the web.
Global Women's Voices: Share Personal Stories
The Feminist Majority Foundation has been working on a project called "Global Voices", a collection of personal narratives from women, doctors, researchers and activists about women's struggles and successes accessing family planning and reproductive health services around the world. The goal of this project is to bring a human face to the women who are suffering as a result of United States international family planning policies.
