Maybe you make your home and earn your living in Appalachia. Maybe
you were raised there and have since moved away, but still hold a
place in your heart for these beloved mountains. Or perhaps you've
only read about it, but still have a sense that this is a special
place.
These mountains are threatened by logging, mountaintop removal and
other kinds of coal mining, and mercury emissions from coal-fired
power plants.
Learn more about the issues facing Appalachia and then help us work
